MQM reviewing SC verdict


KARACHI: The Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM)’s Rabita Committee (RC) members have said here on Wednesday that they are reviewing and pondering over the verdict of Supreme Court to declare Sharif brothers ineligible and will send their recommendations to RC over the decision after thoroughly scrutinizing verdict draft’s details.

Committee further said it will fully review the SC’s verdict under the law and constitution of Pakistan.Earlier, this was decided in Rabita Committee’s joint meeting in Pakistan and London. Committee discussed the SC’s verdict besides reviewing the prevailing political situation.

Spokesman Rabita Committee said, “The experts from MQM will carefully review the SC verdict before making any assertion over the decision.”Rabita Committee’s emergency meeting will continue on Thursday, he added.
